At the Operational Training School in Montelibretti (RM), the 3rd edition of 'SFO 2022' took place. This national fire brigade exercise was aimed at getting to know new technologies for urgent technical rescue available on the market. 
It was an intense week, during which firefighters from all over Italy, distributed over an area of 16 hectares, were engaged in testing the effectiveness of innovative systems and equipment in various realistic scenarios: advanced radio systems to improve communication between teams, infrared visors to improve operations in opaque or nocturnal environments, innovative PPE and intelligent clothing to locate operators at the scene of intervention, systems for recovering people who have fallen into wells and products and components that can be used to improve the safety of the operators.
