Characteristics:
- travel range 130 mm on each axis, reducible due to adjustable limit switches
- aperture 130 x 130 mm for transmitted light applications
- suitable for industrial application
- particularly flat and compact design
- exact positioning due to preloaded recirculating ball bearing guides and low-backlash ball screws
- Hall-effect or mechanical limit switches
- 2-phase step motor or DC motor with encoder
- deformation-resistant aluminium
- reflection-poor, black anodized
Option:
- linear measuring system
The XY stages of the CROSS series are characterized by a low assembly height. The XY stage has a square aperture - mainly intended for optical applications. The CROSS 130 has an aperture with an edge length of 130 mm. If no aperture is necessary, it may be closed by an insert plate with assembly bores. The guides are lying at a wide distance from each other and allow a high moment of tilt in both X and Y direction.
The recirculating ball bearing guides and the ball screws are preloaded. Them and the linear measuring systems (available as an accessory) are securely placed inside the stage along the whole travel and enable most exact and reliable positioning movements even under unfavourable ambient conditions. Thus, a long life time is achieved also in continuous industrial operation. Due to the stepless adjustable limit switches, the travel range can be defined arbitrarily.
Basic elements and covering of the XY stages are made of deformation-resistant aluminium and have a top quality black anodized protective coating.
